Descripción
- Be responsible for recording daily banking activities including applying payments received from customers (and other parties) and posting payments made to suppliers (and other parties).
- Control Accounts Receivable collections and provide an efficient interface with customers to resolve payment issues.
- Manage Accounts Payable cycle and ensure vendor invoices are appropriately coded in accordance with chart of accounts.
- Control Credit Cards charges and record monthly transactions.
- Safeguard petty cash box and record daily cash disbursements.
- Reconcile physical inventory (steel and tools), maintain accuracy in transactions and records.
- Facilitate employees' enquiries and liaise between Accounting and other departments.
- Assist Division Controller with the following tasks:
- Prepare month-end close & reports for the head office,
- Taxes and Government Reports preparation and presentations,
- Prepare annual budget,
- Review (and correct if necessary)



employees' timecards and payroll files prepared by external payroll service provider,
- Coordinate with external or internal auditors,
- Collaborate with on-site Operation Manager, and
- Other ad-hoc projects.

Perfil buscado (h/m)
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (detailed above in Responsibilities) in a manufacturer, out of which 2 years or more are in a senior accountant's role
- CPA designation (must have), and big-4 accounting firm experience is an asset (not a must have)
- Excellent communication skills and speak English fluently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills
- High standards of work ethics and professional integrity
- Reliable, organized, and able to focus attention on details
- Quick learner and able to work under pressure
