About the Role

Silverwing Travel (SWT) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Reconciliation professional to own the accuracy and integrity of our financial reconciliation processes. This role is responsible for ensuring that client invoices, supplier commissions, credit card transactions, and accounting records reconcile accurately across our travel and accounting systems.

This is a highly detail-oriented role that sits at the intersection of accounting and travel operations. You'll own reconciliation processes, proactively identifying discrepancies, driving issues to resolution, and continuously improving how financial data flows between systems.

Success in this role requires strong accounting fundamentals, prior travel industry experience, and the ability to independently investigate, solve problems, and improve processes.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Commission Reconciliation




- Own the reconciliation of airline, hotel, and supplier commissions from receipt through payment.
- Ensure commissions are accurately matched to bookings and advisor records.
- Investigate and resolve missing, delayed, or incorrect commission payments.
- Maintain accurate commission tracking and support timely advisor commission payouts.

Financial Reconciliation
- Own the reconciliation of credit card transactions, client payments, supplier payments, and accounting records.
- Investigate discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Recommend improvements to reconciliation workflows and controls.

Airline & Travel Accounting
- Review Sabre Back Office activity, including ticketing, exchanges, refunds, voids, and post-ticket adjustments.
