This role

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts for our financial services software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers,



to drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in test automation will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our products, as well as identifying and resolving issues throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for UI and API testing.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Contribute to the evolution of our existing test automation framework by developing new utility functions and improving reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements, design and execute test plans, and create comprehensive test cases.
- Proactively identify and report software defects, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
