We are looking for a senior or Staff-level SecOps Automation Engineer
This person will design and implement SOAR workflows, build and tune SIEM detections, integrate security tools through APIs, and collaborate with stakeholders to define effective controls and escalation flows. This is not a traditional Security Operations role; we need a builder who has created or significantly matured SOAR/SIEM automation programs before and can bring practical ideas, autonomy, and confidence to the function.
Responsibilities
- Program Building & Strategy

Design from Scratch: Architect and scale a brand-new incident response automation program, operating with high autonomy to navigate ambiguity.

Mature Security Ops: Bring practical ideas to modernize manual security workflows into an agile, automated, and secure ecosystem.

SOAR, APIs & Scripting

Automate Playbooks: Build hands-on IR workflows and playbooks using low-code/no-code SOAR platforms (specifically Torq or Tines).

Integrate & Script:



Connect disparate security tools via APIs and leverage Python and AI/LLM tools to accelerate workflow efficiency.

SIEM & Threat Detection

Tune Detections: Engineer high-fidelity SIEM alerts that trigger seamless automated containment pipelines.

Data Protection & Alignment: Partner with stakeholders to design DLP controls, define incident escalation flows, and support on-call operations.

Must have
- Senior-level SecOps, SOAR, or Security Automation experience
- Hands-on SOAR workflow design and implementation
- SIEM detection engineering: design, build, and tuning
- Incident response automation experience
- Experience integrating tools through APIs
- Basic scripting for automation
- Ability to build a new function/program from scratch
- Strong stakeholder communication and alignment
- Practical use of AI/LLM tools in security workflows
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and autonomy
