Purpose

• Contributes to the overall success of the Credit Risk Technology team ensuring specific individual goals,
plans, initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities
conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank
relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign
complex software components and applications
• Leverage industry best practices design, test, implement and support a solution




• Support the bank’s counterparty credit risk technology stack to ensure that calculations and reports are
accurate and timely.
• Propose, design, and implement technology solutions to address business needs and support trading
and reporting activities.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities
and decisions.
• Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of
Conduct and the General Sales Principles, while ensuring adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day
business controls
