Purpose
The General Technologies Application team that supports the Global Banking and Markets business is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take on a challenging and exciting role.
The candidate will be involved with the continual support and eventual sunsetting of an existing legacy application as well as contribute and provide support to a newer platform that leverages a modern technology stack. We are looking for creative, quick learning, self-starting, results-detail oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills.

Accountabilities
• Works closely with end-users, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Write code & debug high volume, Airflow, Kafka & Python based Applications
• Update the application according to the end of life schedule of software components
• Hands-on coding is expected - active contribution to the code base as well as code reviews and walkthroughs
• Participate in meetings/stand ups with stakeholders to prioritize development tasks aligned with business goals
• Involved in the full software
