About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Development team at Inszone Insurance Services. This is a senior role for someone with 5+ years of experience in Software QA who is passionate about test automation and ready to take ownership of a growing automation initiative.
Today, our QA team performs primarily manual testing, and we are in the early stages of adopting test automation with Playwright. You will be the driving force behind this transformation: designing the automation strategy, building and standardizing the test framework, creating automated test suites, integrating them into our development pipelines, and helping our manual QA team level up their automation skills.
This is a high-impact role. You will not be maintaining someone else's framework; you will be establishing the foundations, processes, and standards that the entire team will build on.
Beyond automation, we expect strong QA fundamentals.



You should understand different testing types and techniques, know how to design effective test cases, and be able to determine what should and should not be automated.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with developers, QA analysts, and stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Automation Ownership
Own the end-to-end test automation initiative, from strategy definition to framework architecture, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement.
Automation Strategy & Roadmap
Define a pragmatic automation strategy, including what to automate, in what order, and why.
Apply risk-based prioritization and test pyramid principles to maximize value early.
Framework Design & Development
Design, build, and maintain a scalable and maintainable Playwright-based automation framework using TypeScript.
Implement Page Object Model (POM) architecture.
Develop reusable fixtures, utilities,
