Now we're looking for a Support Engineer to join our team in Bogota (Colombia)
or Mexico City (MĂ©xico) and chase the answers, seek the code and chase the dream
with us.

Essence of the Role

The Support Engineer will be part of the Sinch Support team, which is a
worldwide leader in delivery of Messaging solutions. This role reports to
Manager Support Americas&Europe; at Sinch. The workplace will be in Mexico or




Colombia working remotely but it might need to travel occasionally depending on
needs.

Requirements

For the role of Support Engineer, a relevant university degree is required and
at least a couple of years of experience from technical roles within the telecom
and/or IT industry.

We think the perfect candidate has experience and knowledge within some or all
of the following areas:

* Unix/Linux based systems
* OCS/Prepaid Systems or VAS systems (such as SMSC, MMSC, USSD, WAP GW, IVR,
Voice Mail, Collect Call etc.)
* Knowledge in Oracle DB is a plus
* Fluency in English
* IP networks, Diameter, Sigtran/SS7
* Knowledge Virtualization technologies such as VMware or similar is a plus
* Takes initiative and makes carefully considered decisions
* Customer-, technical- and solution oriented
* Comfortable and experienced in multitasking
* Well-Organised
* A positive attitude
