Event Specialist – Bogotá

GFT Technologies is looking for an Event Specialist to join our Marketing team in Bogotá and support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events across Colombia and the LATAM region.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys event logistics, working with multiple stakeholders, coordinating suppliers, and creating professional and memorable brand experiences. You will work closely with the local and regional Marketing teams to ensure GFT’s presence at events is consistent, impactful, and aligned with internal standards and compliance requirements.
What you’ll do

Event Planning & Execution
Support the planning and execution of GFT events across LATAM, including Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, and other markets.
Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, booth design, staffing, travel, and on-site support.
Work with external suppliers, agencies, venues, and event organizers to ensure high-quality delivery, on time and within budget.




Maintain and coordinate the local event calendar in alignment with regional marketing priorities.
Support campaigns and activities around partner and hyperscaler events relevant to the LATAM region.
Provide on-site support and quickly resolve issues that may arise during events.
Compliance & Internal Approvals
Support the submission of events for internal compliance and approval processes.
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within established timelines.
Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to meet governance requirements.
Track event approvals and follow up proactively to avoid delays.
Maintain organized records of event submissions, approvals, and related documentation.
Budget & Vendor Management
Support event budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Assist with contracts, pricing discussions, and negotiations with local vendors and suppliers.
