Bilingual Medical Interpreter (Spanish/English)

I-Call International is looking to hire Spanish medical interpreters to work remotely. Your primary responsibility is to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Spanish‑speaking patients, ensuring accurate understanding of medical terminology and cultural context.

Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between Spanish‑speaking patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide cultural mediation services to help patients navigate the healthcare system and help providers understand cultural differences that may impact patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in the interpretation profession.
- Document interpretation services provided, including date, time, duration, and type of interpretation.
- Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices to ensure accurate interpretation.

Qualifications




- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Experience in interpretation or translation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with the healthcare system.
- Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work well under pressure.

Technical Requirements
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download and upload).
- PC with core i7 processor (6th gen or higher) and at least 8 GB RAM.
- USB wired headset (e.g., Logitech H390 or equivalent) with noise cancellation.
- Ethernet (LAN) connection with a cable.
- HD webcam.
- Professional working space.

Compensation

Hourly shift program. Pay rate: 5 USD per hour.
