Descripción de tareas: Client & Project: We are seeking for a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the 'Nequi Colombia Core Migration' project. The project is for BANCOLOMBIA, a leading financial institution in Colombia.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your day-to-day activities will include performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategy and automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration.
You will also participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Expected to build knowledge and support the team, you will actively participate in problem-solving discussions. Intermediate proficiency in Test Execution and Management is required. System Defect Management, System Integration Testing (SIT), and Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation with intermediate proficiency are recommended.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance best practices
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions
