About the role

At Félix, we are building the future of remittances through a seamless, AI-powered WhatsApp experience. We’re looking for a Disbursement Analyst who is obsessed with making our money transfer experience "insanely great."

You won’t just be pulling data; you will be the guardian of our disbursement efficiency. You will work closely with Disbursements, Operations, and Product Managers to ensure our transactions are fast, cost‑effective, and flawless. We need a "natural investigator" who can dive into a dataset to understand why a transaction was held up or where a routing defect occurred, turning those findings into a better, more reliable product for millions of Latino immigrants.

Responsibilities
- Experience: 5+ years as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Operations Analyst; 3+ years in Fintech, Cross‑Border Payments, or Remittances.
- Domain Expertise: 2–3+ years measuring payment rails and transaction routing KPIs. Comfortable discussing success rates, cost analysis, and tradeoffs between speed and operational cost.
- Technical Core:



Strong SQL in BigQuery/DBT/Firestore; experience with BI tools such as Omni, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar. DBT is a must.
- The "Felix" Vibe: Startup mindset—proactive, bias toward action, and willing to fix something broken without permission.
- Communication: Ability to explain to a non‑technical stakeholder why a 1% drop in success rates matters for users and its impact on NPS and retention.
- Language: Advanced English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Nice to Have
- GCP Ecosystem: Familiarity with BigQuery, Vertex AI, or Cloud Storage.
- Python Mastery: Experience with Pandas/NumPy for data manipulation and modeling complex routing scenarios.
- Start‑up DNA: Prior work in high‑growth fintechs, payments, or cross‑border money movement companies.
- Curiosity: Genuine interest in how integral payment systems evolve.
