About the Role
- Role: React Native engineer / Mobile with React Native Engineer
- Location: Colombia (Remote)
- Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mobile applications using React Native
- Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with engineers through pair programming and team-based development
- Mentor team members, providing technical guidance and performance support
- Contribute to backend development using Java/Kotlin/Spring when required
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement

Must Have
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or senior technical leader




- Strong hands-on experience with React Native and mobile development
- Experience in architecture and technical decision-making
- Strong communication skills and conversational English fluency
- Experience working in collaborative environments (pair programming, team discussions)
- Availability to work aligned with US Eastern Time

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot
- Familiarity with native Android development
- Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL databases
- Exposure to Redis, Kafka, or distributed systems
- Experience with Azure or cloud environments
