We are currently looking for a LATAM Senior Accountant to join our Regional Finance team.
This position will be a key member of the Numerator International Finance team, reporting to the LATAM Regional Controller.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting the monthly close process, and strengthening accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.
- Account for fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions under local GAAP, with understanding of differences to US GAAP
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure audit-ready support for balances
- Investigate and reconcile intercompany balances
- Analyze variances versus prior periods and plan
- Support month-end close and monthly reporting packages
- Coordinate routine and ad-hoc reporting with offshore teams
- Identify and implement process and control improvements
- Manage and coordinate a remote team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional accounting certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Fluent English and Portuguese (Spanish required)
- 4–6 years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
- Experience with revenue accounting and intercompany transactions
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with Netsuite or Oracle reconciliation tools (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and regions
- Proactive, self-motivated and solution-oriented
