We are looking for a Quality Designer II (Lead QA) with deep expertise in quality assurance solutions to lead testing strategies, promote technical innovation, and foster team growth. You will be a critical contributor to EA’s Quality Verification (QV) craft, driving quality strategy, championing data‑informed decisions, and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional player experiences. You will report to the Development Director.

Main Responsibilities

Testing Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement scalable testing strategies aligned with product and business priorities.
- Drive risk‑based testing approaches and ensure appropriate test coverage across features and systems.




- Champion defect prevention, containment, and early QA involvement.

Quality Process Ownership
- Establish and oversee robust quality processes that promote excellence across projects.
- Ensure alignment between quality goals and development roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and methodologies.

Data-Driven Quality & Insights
- Conduct root cause analysis and deep investigations to identify quality gaps.
- Translate project metrics and telemetry into actionable insights and improvement strategies.
- Align and report key quality indicators, risks, and progress to leadership.

Automation & Innovation
- Partner with automation and engineering teams to identify high‑value automation opportunities.
- Leverage data analytics, AI‑driven testing approaches, and modern development tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Advocate for technology‑driven quality evolution across teams.
