Senior Java & Cloud Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Java & Cloud Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable cloud services across major public cloud platforms. You will serve as a key driver of architectural decisions, ensuring that backend services are robust, highly available, and aligned with modern distributed systems practices.

What You'll Do
- Architect and develop high-performance cloud services and distributed backend systems.




- Design and deploy containerized applications to maintain resilient cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering team members to foster technical growth.
- Drive key architectural decisions and technical alignment across engineering squads.
- Optimize systems for high availability, performance, and cost-effective cloud resource usage.

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Java Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in Java and designing complex cloud services.
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and containerization using Docker.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical execution.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
