Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee translation workflows with a primary focus on Spanish to English and English to Spanish content. This role requires a blend of project coordination, linguistic awareness, and client-focused service. The Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards, while supporting smooth collaboration among linguists, editors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Translation Support:
Translate written content accurately and fluently between English and Spanish in both directions, as needed.

•
Interpretation Support:
Schedule interpretations for the clients. Find the correct Interpreter, generate reports.

•
Project Coordination:
- Manage project intake, tracking, scheduling, and final delivery.
- Coordinate with linguists, editors, proofreaders, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding project status, risks, and timelines.

• Quality & Formatting
- Support formatting, QA checks,



and file preparation for client-ready delivery.
- Ensure adherence to client glossaries, style guides, and brand standards.

• Administration & Systems
- Maintain detailed project records and update tracking systems (CRM, TMS, or internal tools).
- Monitor budgets, deadlines, and resources to maximize efficiency.

• Flexibility & Scalability
- Provide backup support during high-volume periods or urgent requests.
- Adapt quickly to changing client requirements and priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, or related field.

•
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management or related roles. Experience as a translator or interpreter is a plus.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (native-level fluency preferred).

• Prior experience in translation project management or coordination.
