Role Overview

The
Case Manager
is responsible for managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation. This role ensures efficient case progression, exceptional client service, and compliance with legal deadlines and firm procedures.

Requirements

Must Have:
- 2+ years of experience in
Personal Injury Case Management, Personal Injury Law, or related Legal Case management roles
.
- Strong understanding of the personal injury
claims process from intake through settlement.
- Experience with insurance claims, medical records, billing, and demand preparation.
- Proficiency in
legal case management software (Clio preferred)
.
- Experience drafting legal correspondence, settlement demands, and case documentation.
- Knowledge of litigation procedures and discovery processes.




- Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Maintain regular communication and provide case status updates.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and text.
- Guide clients through the claims process and assist with vehicle damage claims, reimbursements, and related concerns.
- Build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Case Intake & Investigation
- Review and process new case intakes.
- Obtain and review accident/incident reports, witness statements, photographs, and supporting documentation.
- Open insurance claims and verify coverage.
- Send
Letters of Representation (LORs)
and identify liable parties.

Medical Records & Treatment Coordination
- Request, organize, and manage medical records and billing statements.
