Job Description
We currently have a career opportunity for a DevOps Engineer AWS to join our team located in LATAM.
Schedule
Primary work schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. Candidates must also have flexibility to work a 12‑hour shift every two weeks, requiring availability during overnight or early morning hours in the LATAM time zone.
Responsibilities
- Strong expertise in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Amazon Linux.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS for AWS and AKS for Azure).
- Proficiency in programming with C# and Java.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support Java, .Net, and NodeJS applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on DevOps tools, practices, and methodologies.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our DevOps processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
- Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Azure services.
- Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS on AWS and AKS on Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
