About the Role:
K. Singh & Associates is looking for a Staff Engineer to plan, design, and manage the day-to-day tasks of civil engineering projects, ranging from site developments and stormwater management plans to roadways, highways, and utility distribution systems. The role may also include field work such as construction observation, construction inspection, and materials testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Discuss project requirements with professionals and stakeholders.
Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data using computer modeling software.
Draw up plan documents using CAD packages.
Use analysis tools and software to create engineered drawings that meet client needs and project requirements.
Ensure engineered drawings and project solutions comply with local requirements, state laws, and generally accepted engineering best practices.
Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors during planning and risk analysis.
Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects.




Ensure sites meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements.
Manage the design of repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
Observe work performed by contractors and subcontractors on the job site.
Support project coordination.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE).
0-3 years of experience in the industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Teams.

Work Environment:
Primarily office-based, with fieldwork required for site visits and inspections.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers; occasionally reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull/carry up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
