NielsenIQ (NIQ) is looking for a Contract Analyst to join the Contract Management team. This team supports our North America business and is part of an overall integral Contracts team. The role focuses on North America clients with potential to expand scope in the future. It is a fast‑paced, high‑volume, high‑performing position that works cross‑functionally within the NIQ organization — collaborating directly with Sales, Finance, Pricing, and Legal — and leads the creation, modification, and finalisation of sell‑side licensing agreements for our clients. The position is highly visible, critical to revenue recognition, and involves working with associates at all levels of the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Draft, review, and release contracts and amendments that follow company guidelines
- Draft accurate, concise, and consistent contract terms
- Draft non‑standard provisions as needed
- Review and advise on various miscellaneous agreements, and facilitate the redline process
- Develop logical approaches and suggestions to address complex contractual issues
- Ensure the contract incorporates all authorised specifications and terms
- Document and archive required backup materials, acting as owner of final drafted documents
- Support the Sales team during the contract strategy and negotiation process
- Effectively manage and prioritise assigned workload, seeking assistance when needed
- Work collaboratively with other Contract Management team members
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Legal, Audit, IT, Billing, Finance, Security, etc. to ensure contract terms meet their requirements
- Exercise judgment in handling exceptions to standard procedures
- Enter mandatory data into the contract database and other trackers
- Identify and recommend potential process and standard language improvement opportunities
- Cross‑train on the North American/POC tasks and back‑fill as required
- Handle special projects as needed
