Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Brokerage Representative to join our Freight Brokerage team. The adecuado candidate will have experience in Logistics, Carrier Sales, or Transportation and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-driven environment. This role is responsible for supporting daily load coverage, communicating with carriers, negotiating rates, and resolving time-sensitive transportation challenges while maintaining excellent service and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily carrier communications to support load coverage and transportation operations.

- Make and receive frequent phone calls with carriers, maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach.

- Source and communicate with carriers to secure capacity for available loads.

- Negotiate freight rates and secure competitive pricing while supporting business objectives.

- Clearly communicate company policies, requirements, and expectations to carriers.

- Resolve time-sensitive carrier matching and coverage issues.

- Handle escalations calmly and provide effective solutions to operational challenges.

- Perform basic rate calculations and ensure accuracy when negotiating and confirming pricing.

- Manage multiple calls, systems,



and communication channels simultaneously.

- Maintain accurate load and carrier information within the TMS.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient load coverage and shipment execution.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with carriers.

- Perform additional transportation and brokerage duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 1+ year of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Carrier Sales, Freight Brokerage, or a related field.

- Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive rates and favorable agreements.

- Comfortable making and receiving frequent phone calls.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to multitask across calls, systems, and communication channels.

- Strong numerical skills and ability to perform basic freight rate calculations.

- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with TMS and logistics systems is preferred.

- English proficiency: B2–C1 (required).
