Are you an experienced Bookkeeper (Quickbooks Expert) professional who can confidently manage bookkeeping and financial operations with minimal supervision? We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and can take ownership of day-to-day accounting tasks from day one.
This is a detail-driven role for someone who enjoys keeping financial records accurate, organized, and up to date while supporting business operations with reliable financial information.
About the Role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Create and send invoices while following up on outstanding payments
- Record vendor bills and manage payment schedules
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with payroll preparation and expense tracking when needed
- Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies
- Support tax preparation by maintaining organized financial records
- Work closely with business owners, accountants, and external CPAs
- Maintain spreadsheets and financial reports using Excel or Google Sheets
- Identify process improvements to increase financial accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure confidentiality of all financial information
What We're Looking For
- Previous hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting U.S.-based businesses is a strong plus
- Experience with payroll or tax preparation is a plus
