We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will examine and document the structure of our existing databases, contribute to building new data models, and ensure alignment with business needs, rules, and regulations. This position calls for a solid grasp of data management, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and data architects.

Responsibilities





Examine current database structures to gain insight into data flows, relationships, and dependencies
Record the existing database schema, data dictionaries, and data lineage
Pinpoint opportunities for improvement and optimization within current database structures
Work with product owners, data architects, and software engineers to design and build new data models that address business needs
Confirm that data models remain scalable, efficient, and consistent with best practices
Produce and update data models, diagrams, and accompanying documentation
Engage with stakeholders to collect and understand business requirements tied to data
Convert business requirements into technical specifications for data models and databases
Understand and apply applicable data governance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
Verify that data models and database structures align with industry standards and regulations
Track and report on adherence to data govern
