HR Specialist – HR Operations, Onboarding, Payroll & Compliance

About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a hands-on HR operations role focused on onboarding, offboarding, HR compliance, payroll coordination, HRIS administration, employee support, and recruitment coordination.
You’ll work closely with leadership, recruiters, payroll teams, and employees to ensure HR processes are accurate, compliant, organized, and completed on time.

What You’ll OwnOnboarding & Offboarding
Prepare offer letters, onboarding documents, employee packets, and orientation schedules
Coordinate completion of:
I-9 documentation
E-Verify
Tax forms
Direct deposit information
Required compliance documentation




Ensure new hires have a smooth and organized onboarding experience
Manage offboarding, including access removal, equipment retrieval, documentation, and exit coordination
HRIS & Employee Records
Maintain accurate employee records in systems such as:
BambooHR
ADP
Gusto
Zenefits
Similar HRIS platforms
Process employee changes and maintain accurate organizational records
Track PTO, benefits enrollment, and employee information
Prepare reports on headcount, turnover, compliance, and other HR metrics
Maintain organized and audit-ready employee files
Payroll & Benefits Coordination
Support payroll preparation and reconciliation
Validate employee hours, deductions, benefits, and payroll changes
Coordinate with finance and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies
Assist employees with benefits-related questions
Support open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration
Help ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted on time
