JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Role:
We are hiring a senior iOS Engineering Lead to own native integration work
within our brownfield mobile application. The app hosts a React Native layer
embedded inside a native iOS shell — existing screens are built with UIKit and
SwiftUI using MVP, MVC, and MV design patterns, and the role requires deep
fluency in those native foundations. React Native exposure is a plus, but this
role is fundamentally about owning the native iOS side of the integration
boundary: navigation bridges, lifecycle handoff, native module contracts, and
ensuring existing ViewControllers and SwiftUI screens behave correctly as the RN
layer expands.
* Own architecture and implementation of native iOS screens built with UIKit
(UIViewController-based) and SwiftUI, across MVP, MVC, and MV design
patterns.
* Define and enforce engineering standards for native code quality,
maintainability, and Swift/Objective-C interoperability.
* Lead design and implementation of the Navigation Bridge — the contract that
allows the React Native layer to invoke native screens and receive results.
* Own native app lifecycle, deep linking, push notification handling, and
platform-specific behavior that sits outside the RN boundary.
* Ensure native screens integrate cleanly with the RN runtime without leaking
state, lifecycle, or memory
Your Profile:
* 7+ years of iOS software engineering experience with significant production
app delivery.
* 3+ years in a lead or technical leadership
