Job Description
Your Role:
We are hiring a senior iOS Engineering Lead to own native integration work within our brownfield mobile application. The app hosts a React Native layer embedded inside a native iOS shell — existing screens are built with UIKit and SwiftUI using MVP, MVC, and MV design patterns, and the role requires deep fluency in those native foundations. React Native exposure is a plus, but this role is fundamentally about owning the native iOS side of the integration boundary: navigation bridges, lifecycle handoff, native module contracts,
and ensuring existing ViewControllers and SwiftUI screens behave correctly as the RN layer expands.
Own architecture and implementation of native iOS screens built with UIKit (UIViewController-based) and SwiftUI, across MVP, MVC, and MV design patterns.
Define and enforce engineering standards for native code quality, maintainability, and Swift/Objective-C interoperability.
Lead design and implementation of the Navigation Bridge — the contract that allows the React Native layer to invoke native screens and receive results.
Own native app lifecycle, deep linking, push notification handling, and platform-specific behavior that sits outside the RN boundary.
Ensure native screens integrate cleanly with the RN runtime without leaking state, lifecycle, or memory
Your Profile:
7+ years of iOS software engineering experience with significant production app delivery.
3+ years in a lead or technical leadership role on iOS.
