The Qualifications We Seek
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Skills & Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the retirement industry
- Experience in retirement plan administration and compliance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Experience with project management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Certifications
- Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certificate through ASPPA, required within the first year of employment
- Additional ASPPA, ERPA, or similar retirement plan certifications, preferred but not required

Your Daily Tasks
Retirement Plan Administration
- Assist with the administration of Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs), Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs), and external client retirement plans.
- Submit retirement plan contribution files accurately and on schedule.
- Review and validate employee enrollment forms and distribution requests.
- Review documentation for completeness and obtain missing information when necessary.
- Set up employee retirement plans, elections, and loan deductions within the payroll system.
Client & Employee Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service and explain eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and retirement plan features.
- Research and respond to client and employee inquiries while ensuring compliance with DOL, IRS, and ERISA regulations.
- Coordinate with previous plan providers to obtain required historical retirement plan information.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain retirement plan files in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor changes to DOL and IRS regulations that affect retirement plan administration.
- Support retirement plan reconciliations and audit activities.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Team on ADP/ACP testing and other regulatory requirements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain communication with retirement plan vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by the management team.
- Maintain high responsiveness and service quality in a fast-paced environment.
