Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing & Payment Posting Specialist with a strong background in medical billing, payment posting, and accounts receivable. The adecuado candidate will have experience working with insurance claims and reimbursement processes, with exposure to Workers’ Compensation (WC) and No-Fault (NF) billing highly preferred.
Experience handling New York Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault claims is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Process and post insurance and patient payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage medical billing activities, including claim submission, payment reconciliation, and account follow-up.
Review payment activity, EOBs/ERAs, and remittance information to ensure accurate account posting.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between billed amounts, payments, adjustments, and outstanding balances.
Follow up on unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims as needed.
Maintain accurate patient and insurance account records.
Support accounts receivable activities and assist with outstanding balance resolution.




Work with Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault claims and insurance requirements.
Ensure billing and payment posting activities comply with established procedures and payer requirements.
Communicate with internal teams, insurance carriers, and other relevant parties to resolve billing and payment issues.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in medical billing and payment posting.
Strong understanding of insurance billing, payments, adjustments, and accounts receivable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing or payment issues independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with Workers’ Compensation and/or No-Fault billing is preferred.
Experience with New York Workers’ Compensation (NY WC) and No-Fault (NY NF) is highly preferred.
