Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our Freight Brokerage team. The adecuado candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Freight Brokerage or Carrier Sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills. This role is responsible for sourcing and coordinating with carriers, securing capacity, negotiating rates, and supporting efficient freight operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Source and communicate with carriers to secure capacity for available loads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
Negotiate freight rates while supporting company profitability and service objectives.
Coordinate load coverage and ensure shipments are assigned to qualified carriers.
Communicate load details, pickup and delivery requirements, and company expectations clearly to carriers.
Monitor carrier responses and proactively follow up to secure capacity.
Resolve carrier-related issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner.




Maintain accurate carrier and load information within transportation systems.
Collaborate with Operations and internal teams to ensure successful shipment execution.
Stay informed about market conditions and carrier availability.
Perform additional brokerage and carrier sales duties as assigned.

Requirements
1+ year of experience in Freight Brokerage or Carrier Sales.
Previous experience working directly with carriers is preferred.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience with Truckstop or DAT is preferred.
English proficiency: B2–C1 (required).
