Ninja Tropic is looking for a freelance web designer to help us improve specific pages on our website. This is not a branding project — our visual identity, logos, and brand guidelines are staying as they are. What we need help with is fixing structurally weak pages: poor information architecture, cluttered layouts, and front-end frameworks that aren't serving the content well.
You'll be working page by page, redesigning the structure and front-end experience so our site is easier to navigate, better organized, and more effective at communicating what we do, all while staying consistent with our existing brand.
What you'll do
Audit the structure and layout of specific existing pages and identify what's not working
Redesign page layouts and information architecture (not visual branding) for clarity and usability
Design responsive, front-end-ready layouts in Figma
Propose improvements to how content and framework/components are organized on the page
Collaborate with our team on a task-by-task basis, prioritizing pages as we assign them
What this is not
Not a branding or visual identity project (no new logo, colors, or brand system)
Not a full-time role — this is freelance, project/task-based work
Not a fixed weekly schedule — expect a light, ongoing cadence of a few hours per week as tasks come up
What we're looking for
Strong front-end design sensibility — you understand how design translates into a working front end, not just how it looks
Solid experience with Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
A good eye for information architecture and page structure, not just visual polish
Experience redesigning existing websites/pages (not just building from scratch)
Ability to work independently on defined tasks and communicate progress clearly
A portfolio that shows real examples of structural/UX redesign work
