Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Finance Specialist at Slate Brands. The Finance Specialist will manage and analyze financial data, prepare and review financial statements, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The role will also involve providing financial insights to cross-functional teams, supporting performance reporting for brands in the portfolio,



and helping ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant policies. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
Ability to interpret and prepare Financial Statements, with solid knowledge of standard accounting principles.
Excellent Analytical Skills for financial modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven insights.
Clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance partners.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
