Position Summary

The Director of Client Accounting is responsible for leading Thryve's Client Accounting Engine by ensuring the timely, accurate, and scalable delivery of accounting services across all client engagements. This role serves as the technical, operational, and client-facing accounting leader for accounting-only engagements, while supporting CFO-led engagements through high-quality financial output and issue identification.

The Director of Client Accounting partners closely with the Director of LATAM Operations and the CEO to build a world-class finance delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Delivery & Quality
- Own the month-end close process across all assigned clients.
- Ensure financial statements and supporting schedules are accurate, timely, and complete.
- Review work prepared by the accounting team and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Monitor close deadlines and proactively resolve issues that could impact delivery.

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the client accounting team,



including internal staff and external LATAM resources.
- Assign work, balance workloads, and ensure team members are operating at the appropriate level.
- Train new accountants on Thryve standards, processes, and best practices.
- Foster accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Process Improvement & Standardization
- Develop and maintain standardized close checklists, SOPs, and accounting templates.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Client Accounting Engine.

Financial Review & Advisory Support
- Perform high-level monthly reviews of client financial statements.
- Identify trends, anomalies, compliance concerns, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Provide recommendations and insights to the CEO and client-facing CFO team to enhance advisory conversations.
