Position Summary
The Creative Strategist owns the copy behind every paid social ad we run: the concepts, leads, hooks, and scripts that turn ad spend into revenue. This is a writing-first role for someone fluent in direct-response principles, including awareness levels, mechanism, and hook-lead-proof-offer architecture, who can translate consumer insight and performance data into ads that convert.
The Creative Strategist works directly with the Founder and Head of Growth and has full ownership of copy direction.
Editors and UGC creators execute the scripts this role writes; every ad produced by the team originates as this role's copy.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting: Write high-converting leads, hooks, scripts, VSLs, and advertorials grounded in a clear mechanism.
Competitor & Market Research: Monitor the Meta Ad Library and TikTok to analyze competitor and category creative, identifying structural patterns behind what performs.
Concept Development: Generate ad concepts and storylines based on consumer insight, mapped to audience awareness level and market sophistication.
Brief Production: Translate scripts into clear creative briefs that editors and UGC creators can execute without additional guidance.
Data-Driven Iteration: Analyze CTR, hook rate, hold rate, and ROAS to determine which concepts to kill and which to scale.
Variant Production: Produce new hooks, leads, VSL cuts, and advertorial reformats of winning ads alongside new concept development.
