We're looking for a bilingual Legal Counsel who is at the beginning of their professional journey and wants to develop a long-term career in corporate law within a fast-growing fintech.
This role is designed for lawyers with up to one year of professional experience who are eager to learn, take ownership, and grow through hands-on exposure to a wide variety of legal matters.
You will work closely with experienced leaders who will provide guidance while giving you meaningful responsibilities from day one.
What You'll Do
Draft, review, and support the negotiation of commercial contracts.
Assist with customer legal matters, including PQRs, legal petitions, and tutela actions.
Support responses to regulatory authorities, including the SIC.
Assist with commercial, contractual, civil, labor, and corporate legal matters.
Partner with HR on employment-related legal topics.
Support compliance initiatives and legal risk assessments.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memorandums.
Maintain legal documentation, contract templates, and internal records.
This role is intended for someone who wants to learn, receive mentorship, and progressively assume greater responsibilities—not for someone already leading legal functions independently.
What We're Looking For
Law degree with an active Colombian Bar License.
Up to one year of professional legal experience (internships and trainee experience may be considered).
Advanced English (B2+ or C1) is required. Daily communication in English is part of the role.
Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Highly organized and proactive.
Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
