About the Role
As a Billing & Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in both day‑to‑day billing operations and general accounting processes. You’ll ensure invoices are accurate and timely, support reconciliations, and help maintain the integrity of financial data across the organization.
This role is idóneo for someone who wants to move beyond basic tasks and gain exposure to more analytical accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely billing
- Review Bills of Lading, contracts, and rates to validate freight charges
- Support account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with month‑end closing activities and financial reporting
- Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding billing inquiries
- Help improve processes and ensure accuracy across billing and accounting workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in billing, accounting, or finance roles (logistics experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
