: This position is responsible for overseeing the organization’s grant fulfillment, financial reporting and regulatory compliance with a heavy emphasis on payroll. It requires coordination between the finance department and other organizational units while creating relevant reports for various departments.
Responsabilities
- Accounting Operations • Audit timesheets to track employee hours to support payroll, benefit allocations and grant reporting • Prepare timesheet allocation and summary • Review and prepare biweekly payroll and associated reporting • Create grant invoices and/or disbursement requests • Prepare grant expenditure reports • Update grant tracking internal documents • Create and maintain grant reporting calendar • Retain grant files provided by the Grants Manager, including budgets, revisions, amendments, grant contracts and agreements for fiscal purposes.
- Submit Financial reporting to Grants Manager as requested.
- Create/update grant folders with contracts for the Finance Department.
- Maintain document for logins for all grant sites.
- Assist with Annual audit - including gathering grant and invoice copies.
- Support budget development, grant proposals, and ensure compliance throughout grant lifecycles.
- Collaborate with department leads to provide training on grant policies ensuring compliance to mitigate financial risks.
- Attend all meetings as required by the CFO.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO.
- Performs general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 3-5 years of Finance or Accounting experience.
- Must be able to work and interact professionally • Proficient in Microsoft •English native
