This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Reward Services Americas. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a challenging and dynamic environment, brings a continuous improvement mindset, and can combine technical reward expertise with a consultative approach to influence and support decision-making at different levels of the organization.
Preferred locations for this position are Buenos Aires, Argentina; Monte Mor, Brazil; and Polanco, Mexico. However, candidates based in any Latin American country where Tetra Pak has an established office are welcome to apply and will be considered for the role.
Tetra Pak does not offer Career Migration or any kind of relocation support for this position.
We strongly encourage applications from individuals belonging to underrepresented or minoritized groups, including women, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and others.
What you will do
As a Senior Reward Specialist, you will:
- Support end-to-end Reward processes across assigned countries within the Americas region, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of compensation and benefits activities;
- Participate in annual market benchmarking exercises and Reward reporting to help maintain external competitiveness and internal equity;
- Support the annual compensation review and variable pay processes, ensuring strong data integrity and accurate execution;
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support compensation-related decisions and business needs;
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders on Reward matters, communicating effectively with audiences at different levels of the organization;
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to operationalize general Reward programs and adapt them to local market requirements where applicable;
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, governance standards, and confidentiality expectations at all times;
- Contribute to regional and global Reward projects and broader HR initiatives, supporting successful implementation and change activities;
- Collaborate closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and a high-quality employee experience.
We believe you have
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
- Solid experience in Compensation & Benefits, Reward, or related areas, ideally within multicultural or multi-country environments;
- Knowledge of market benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies, and salary surveys from providers such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, or Korn Ferry;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations, supported by advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and macros;
- Experience participating in local, regional, or global projects, combined with a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in driving process optimization and automation;
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and engage effectively across different organizational levels;
- A proactive, self-driven, and resilient approach, complemented by strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities;
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance, with respect for governance, policies, and established processes;
- Professional fluency in English and one additional language,
either Spanish or Portuguese. Proficiency in a third language is considered a plus.
