At Solvo we are looking for a Billing Specialist

Job Description: We are looking for an Billing Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the company's capital outflow.

Responsibilities: Facilitates payment to vendors, which may include verifying federal identification numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies. Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense reports and other financial reports to account balances and other office records. Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop payment orders as needed. Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions. Records entry, verifies documentation, and distributes petty cash. Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices. Performs required recordkeeping.



Other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications - Hard and Soft Skills: 2+ years of accounts payable related experience Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office Ability to learn accounting software systems Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification a plus Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting a plus Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
