About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Rails Engineer with hands-on experience building AI-powered applications to join a growing engineering team. In this role, you'll develop production-ready features using Ruby on Rails while helping integrate AI capabilities into products and engineering workflows.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across the full software development lifecycle, and applying modern AI technologies in real-world production environments.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features into production.
- Create reliable AI workflows with evaluation, testing, and guardrails.
- Build integrations with APIs, databases, and internal tools.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality and development processes.
- Contribute to architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.

Requerimientos:

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience delivering AI or LLM-based features in production.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, structured outputs, evaluation, or similar approaches.
- Experience working with React.
- Knowledge of software architecture, testing, deployment, and observability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent engineering judgment.

Ability to work with at least 75% overlap with Eastern Time.
