We are looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to join a U.S.-based law firm. This is an on-site position in Colombia. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, combining sales skills with administrative responsibilities. The role focuses on scheduling paid consultations, screening potential cases, and ensuring professional communication in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, long-term position for candidates located in Colombia (Barranquilla, Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Ibagué, Bucaramanga, and Armenia).
RESPONSABILITIES
Schedule paid consultations for prospective clients with attorneys
Screen incoming calls to confirm alignment with practice areas
Apply sales techniques to build rapport, explain services, and overcome objections
Collect payments before booking consultations
Take detailed notes while actively listening to callers
Follow up with leads from web forms,



referrals, and phone inquiries
Draft and send professional emails without templates
Maintain accurate records and reports of prospective clients
Transfer non-intake calls to the appropriate team member
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year of sales experience
Stable work history (2+ years in previous roles preferred)
Advanced English writing and grammar skills
Strong active listening and conversation management abilities
Ability to type at least 50 words per minute while speaking
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
“Closer” mentality — able to guide prospects toward booking and paying for consultations
Professional and empathetic communication style
