Job Summary:
As a Sr Benefits Analyst, you will play a key role in managing complex benefits administration processes and supporting client relationships. This position requires a deeper level of analysis, ownership of benefits processes, and the ability to resolve escalated issues while ensuring compliance with benefit regulations.
You will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, coordinating with carriers and internal teams, auditing benefit data, and supporting Open Enrollment and renewal activities. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive communication with clients and stakeholders will ensure accurate benefits administration and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Client & Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding benefit-related inquiries, escalations, and complex issues, maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
- Analyze and resolve documented variances within the CRM system (Client Space), coordinating with carriers, reviewing system configurations,
and managing internal reassignments when necessary.
- Participate in or lead client meetings and transition calls to address benefit administration issues and ensure service continuity.
- Benefits Administration & Compliance
- Ensure accurate eligibility determinations for new hires and employees experiencing status changes and update benefit records accordingly.
- Process Qualified Life Events (QLEs) accurately and within required timelines.
- Manage FSA and HSA eligibility, enrollments, and compliance monitoring.
- Respond to COBRA inquiries in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Process Medical Support Orders (MSO) and Benefits Verification of Employment (VOE) requests.
- Conduct payroll reviews to validate benefit deductions and changes.
- Perform benefits reconciliation processes, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data integrity across systems.
