Logistic Equipment Executive

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Logistic Equipment Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL in Bogota, Colombia. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination and execution of logistics activities to support the company’s logistics objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including container positioning, warehousing, and delivery.
- Coordinate the recovery of containers held by authorities or retained by customers beyond the established time.
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, depots, terminals and internal teams to ensure timely cargo movement.




- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
- Prepare and process logistics-related documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving logistics issues and improving operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain oversight of Maintenance & Repair (M&R;) activities, verifying photographic records, repair times, and cost control.
- Continuously monitor container dwell times at container yards, promoting their timely evacuation and turnaround.

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Min. 3 years experience in shipping companies, handling containers Reefer and Dry, and other related equipment of logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
