The Documentation Specialist will be the support of Buying team with tasks including but not limited to: New item set up, vendor and process follow up, follow up and completion of all necessary COC or other compliance/regulatory related tasks necessary for import into our clubs. Timely reaction and follow through on collecting and entering missing data points.

Responsibilities
Interface with Buying staff and vendor community for necessary product and Vendor information
Data entry for new item creation and review of completed documents for accuracy
Obtain necessary documentation to facilitate completion of new product set up as well as regulatory requirements needed for importation
Work with Duties, registration,



and Quality Control departments following flow of paperwork for new item entry
Coordinate paperwork for new Vendor set up and/or Vendor information updates
Understanding department related calendar events in order to prioritize tasks appropriately
Pricesmart.com review and validation of new item presentation on web
Knowledge of AS400 operating system helpful but not a requirement
Other duties as they arise

Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills necessary
Works independently adhering to necessary time goals
Ability to work with others in a team environment
Adaptable in a change oriented environment
Good sense of urgency
Strong Math Skills
Accuracy is a must
Organized
Strong Follow-up skills
Works well under pressure
English-Spanish Bilingual required
