is looking for a
Power BI Specialist
with experience in the
restaurant industry
to join a short-term consulting engagement (approximately
2 months
), with the potential for future project extensions.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, executive-level visualizations.
- Develop operational and executive KPI dashboards focused on restaurant performance.
- Create advanced DAX calculations and optimize report performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Deliver user-friendly dashboards that provide actionable insights across the organization.

Note:
The backend data model is already in place, so this role will primarily focus on dashboard development, report design, DAX, and user experience.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing




Power BI dashboards and reports
.
- Strong expertise in
DAX
and data visualization best practices.
- Previous experience working with
restaurant industry data
, including:

-Point of Sale (POS)

-Labor and workforce metrics

-Inventory

-Financial reporting
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
- Ability to build executive and operational KPI dashboards.

Nice to Have
- Experience working as a BI Developer, BI Consultant, Analytics Consultant, or Data Visualization Specialist.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting environments.
