Staff Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting, month-end close, fixed assets, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, managing fixed asset accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by preparing journal entries and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including asset additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
Review and process capital expenditures (CapEx) to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies.
Prepare monthly fixed asset reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Track and analyze CapEx budgets versus presente spending,



providing variance analysis and recommendations to management.
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, primarily for fixed assets and other long-term asset accounts.
Analyze monthly financial statements, identify fluctuations from historical trends or budget expectations, and investigate variances.
Ensure assigned accounting areas are complete, accurate, and compliant with U.S. GAAP.
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Collaborate with Corporate Finance and FP&A; teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in Accounting, General Ledger, or related accounting functions.
