? Logistics Capacity & Carrier Relations Specialist

Help build a high-performing carrier network and drive transportation excellence.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in the transportation industry and enjoys building strong carrier relationships. In this role, you'll help identify specialized capacity, maintain accurate carrier intelligence, support rate gathering, and ensure carrier partners receive professional and efficient communication.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Sourcing & Freight Placement
- Research and engage qualified carrier partners for active lanes, with a focus on:
- Flatbed
- Step Deck
- Heavy Haul / Heavy-Spec
- Hot Shot
- Enclosed Van
- Specialized Industrial Capacity
- Professionally post available freight and clearly communicate shipment requirements through approved platforms and carrier networks.
- Monitor regional capacity,



equipment availability, and market trends to help teams anticipate constraints and opportunities.

Rate Gathering & Market Intelligence
- Request, compile, organize, and summarize carrier pricing for project bids, spot opportunities, and lane development.
- Return rate requests quickly and accurately to support decision-making.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, equipment trends, and carrier availability.

Carrier Profile Management & Onboarding
- Build and maintain comprehensive carrier profiles, including:
- Equipment types
- Operating regions and lanes
- Contact information
- Service strengths
- Historical performance
- Capacity availability
- Support the collection and verification of insurance, authority, safety, banking, and project-specific documentation.
- Ensure carrier data remains current, searchable, and useful across teams.
