We are especially interested in seeing work that demonstrates experience with editorial design, magazine or publication layouts, typography, branding, and both print and digital design.

About the Role

SD Marketing is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to create a wide range of visual content for our marketing initiatives while managing the design of our print and digital magazine.

This role combines editorial and publication design, social media, email marketing, content creation, and day-to-day marketing design . The adecuado candidate will have strong graphic design skills across multiple mediums, with experience in magazine or publication design, typography, and branding.

You'll manage larger editorial projects from concept through completion while also handling quick-turn marketing needs. This requires someone who can balance multiple projects, work within established templates and brand guidelines, and find creative ways to make every piece of content visually engaging.

What You'll Be Doing

Editorial & Publication Design

- Manage the design and production of print and digital publications from initial content through final layout and publication.
- Create polished editorial layouts for articles, regular columns, special features, advertisements, and other publication content.
- Work proficiently in Adobe InDesign to build, edit, and maintain publication layouts and production files.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across all issues while aligning with established brand guidelines and editorial tone.
- Coordinate content submissions, revisions, and publishing timelines with internal team members and contributors.
- Ensure all monthly submissions of articles, photography, advertisements,



and announcements are accurately incorporated into each issue.
- Bring a strong creative eye to visual storytelling, typography, layout, imagery, and the overall reader experience.

Marketing & Content Design

- Create visual content for social media, email marketing, webinars, events, digital campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
- Develop engaging social media graphics and digital content that support ongoing marketing campaigns and communications.
- Create and adapt email marketing materials using platforms such as Constant Contact and Mailchimp .
- Repurpose existing content and creative assets across social media, email, web, and other digital channels.
- Create marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, trade show materials, blog graphics, digital ads, and promotional materials.
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across marketing channels and deliverables.
- Work efficiently within established Canva templates , brand guidelines, and creative systems.
- Adapt existing templates and assets for different platforms, campaigns, audiences, and marketing needs.
- Bring a strong creative eye to typography, imagery, composition, hierarchy, and overall presentation.

Collaboration & Coordination

- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities across editorial, marketing, and creative initiatives.
- Coordinate project timelines, content needs, revisions, and final deliverables with internal team members.
- Work independently and efficiently while communicating proactively about project status, priorities, and potential challenges.
- Take on additional creative projects as needed, demonstrating versatility and adaptability across different types of work.
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

What We Need From You

- Location: Must be based in Colombia.
- Work Arrangement: Available to work remotely on a full-time independent contractor basis.
- Professional Experience:



3+ years of professional graphic design experience, including print and digital design.
- Publication Experience: Experience with editorial, magazine, publication, or other multi-page design.
- Adobe InDesign: Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Canva: Experience working with Canva and established templates is required.
- Email Marketing: Experience with platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
- Design Expertise: Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, branding, imagery, and composition.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects, deadlines, revisions, and priorities.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow brand guidelines.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a remote environment.
- English Proficiency: Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust to evolving priorities.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
