The Opportunity: The R&D; team builds software that powers mission-critical operations and asset management for complex industrial environments globally. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test to raise the platform's quality bar by embedding directly with our engineers. You will own the strategy, design, and execution of automated testing across our cloud-native ecosystem.
What you'll own
- Automated frameworks: Design and build modern end-to-end and integration test automation suites while steering our technical direction away from legacy patterns.
- CI/CD integration: Embed automated testing directly into our release pipelines, establishing robust quality gates that prevent regressions.
- Performance testing: Execute load, stress, and performance evaluations to identify bottlenecks and ensure cloud scalability.
- Quality leadership: Champion testability across the engineering lifecycle and mentor the team on modern testing practices.
What we're looking for
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software development and test automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks and backend automated testing using xUnit or nUnit in a C# / .NET environment.
- Practical experience with load and performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated track record of integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Experience testing cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP, alongside familiarity with API testing, contract testing, and service virtualization.
- Experience working within Windows-based enterprise environments.
- Fluent, professional English (written and verbal) is required for daily collaboration with distributed team members.
- A quality-first mindset, strong autonomy, and the ability to influence without authority.
Nice-to-haves:
- Exposure to application security testing tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
- Solid understanding of relational databases including SQL Server.
- Familiarity with microservices, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience contributing to SOC2-aligned or regulated enterprise environments.
- Interest in AI-assisted testing.
