We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support our growing personal injury law practice. This is a remote position open to international candidates, and Spanish fluency is required as you will regularly communicate with Spanish-speaking clients.
The idóneo candidate has prior experience in personal injury law, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients in both Spanish and English via phone, email, and text
- Assist with client intake, case opening, and ongoing case management
- Request and follow up on medical records, bills, police reports, and other case-related documents
- Draft correspondence, legal documents, and demand packages
- Maintain and update case files and client information in the case management system
- Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other third parties
- Track deadlines and ensure files are organized and up to date
- Support attorneys with administrative and legal tasks as needed
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior experience as a personal injury legal assistant or case assistant
- Ability to work remotely from outside the U.S.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and legal case management software
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S.-based personal injury law firms
- Familiarity with medical records and personal injury claims processes
- Experience with client intake and demand preparation
- Knowledge of immigration-friendly remote work environments
